Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Liam Coen is making offensive balance a top priority during the team's ongoing OTAs.
After a sharp decline in the run game late last season, Coen is determined to fix what he candidly calls the team's "stinks."
In 2025, rushing production plummeted from 128.1 to just 91.2 yards per game, dropping the Jaguars from eighth to 27th in NFL rankings.
Coen stressed that both run and pass strategies must improve, acknowledging that consistent high rushing numbers over a full season are rare but essential for long-term success.
The departure of star running back Travis Etienne Jr. creates a major opportunity for newcomer Chris Rodriguez Jr. to step up.
Sophomores Bhayshul Tuten and LeQuint Allen Jr. are also in the mix, with open competition fueling hopes for a rejuvenated ground attack.
Jacksonville’s focus remains on tougher, more versatile offense as preparations continue. Read More... |
